Barbara booked us a few months ago for Skye’s 18th Birthday – this is actually the 3rd time we have been out at this hall playing for family friends of Barbara, Sharon & Aidan – all previously held at this same hall – so it was great for us to come back and do it all again for Skye’s 18th Birthday Party.
Skye’s party started off with a bang! (Quite literally, as James started off with Jessie J’s – Bang Bang)…. A few guests started to arrive before 6, most arriving shortly after and dancing got underway! Not long after – everyone took a quick break as the food came out and once everyone had finished eating, we called everyone back to the dance floor to restart the party with an old 2000’s hit – Black Eyed Peas – Lets get it started.
After that James started to play some mostly recent chart hits, with some ABBA mixed in as this was a big favourite of Skye! – and at 7:00pm, we got everyone involved doing the YMCA followed by Dancing Queen – Skye’s favourite song at 7:30pm.
Straight after that we did the birthday cake, and everyone sang happy birthday, with Skye gaving a short speech to thank everyone for coming. After the cake started the dancing back up with another of Skye’s favourite songs – Mamma Mia!
DJ JAMES – kept on with some chart hits, trying to keep everyone involved and up dancing and lots more Abba for the last couple songs!
We even got some great feedback from Barbara giving us a big thanks for James effort and how great the night was.
